Terms of Service - Fabi

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Fabi ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of the App.

2. Description of Service

Fabi is an iOS application that provides weight tracking, progress analytics, a calendar heatmap, and an AI-powered coaching feature. The App is intended for general wellness and informational purposes only.

Not medical advice. All content in Fabi, including coach responses, diet suggestions, and progress summaries, is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing your diet, exercise routine, or health regimen.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Fabi. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should have parental consent before using the App.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

Fabi is free to download. Certain features require a paid subscription, purchased via Apple In-App Purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

All billing is handled by Apple. To manage or cancel your subscription, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone. We do not issue refunds outside of Apple's standard refund policy.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into the App.
You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm others.
You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the App.
You agree not to use automated tools to access or interact with the App.

6. AI Coach Feature

The AI coach generates responses automatically based on your profile. Responses may not always be accurate, complete, or right for your specific situation. You acknowledge that:

AI responses are not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice.
You use AI-generated advice at your own risk.
We are not liable for any outcomes resulting from following AI-generated suggestions.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding within the App are the exclusive property of Fabi's developers and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
