1. Overview

Fabi ("we", "our", or "the app") is an iOS application that helps you track your weight, follow a diet plan, and get personalized coaching. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

2. Information We Collect

Your personal data stays on your device. Everything you enter during setup (your name, age, height, weight, goal, diet type, and health background) and all weight entries you log are saved directly on your iPhone. This information is never sent to our servers.

AI coach conversations. When you send a message to your coach, Fabi shares a summary of your profile with our AI provider so it can give you relevant responses. The conversation is not stored or logged on our end.

Usage analytics. We collect basic, anonymous information about how the app is used (for example, whether onboarding was completed or a weight entry was logged). This data cannot be linked back to you personally.

Purchase information. Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We receive confirmation of your purchase status but never have access to your payment details.

Tracking permission. On first launch, Fabi asks for your permission before collecting any advertising identifier. If you decline, no tracking takes place.

3. How We Use Your Information

To deliver the core features of the app: weight tracking, AI coaching, progress charts, and the calendar.
To personalize the responses you receive from your AI coach.
To understand how the app is being used so we can improve it.
To manage your subscription and restore past purchases.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

Fabi works with a small number of trusted services to deliver its features. Each has its own privacy policy:

OpenAI: powers the AI coaching feature.
RevenueCat: handles subscription management.
Superwall: manages in-app offers and paywalls.
AppsFlyer: measures install attribution and anonymous usage events.

5. Data Retention

Your personal data lives on your device and is removed when you delete the app. Anonymous usage events are retained by our analytics partners according to their own policies. We do not keep any personal records on our servers.

6. Children's Privacy

Fabi is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under that age. If you believe a child has used the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

7. Your Rights

Because your data is stored on your own device, you are in full control of it at all times. Deleting the app removes all locally stored information. For data held by our third-party partners, you can contact those services directly or reach out to us at the address below.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
